sherights was born from a desire to educate myself and others on women’s rights issues and news. Too often, these issues are swept aside and discounted as noise, or are filler for when “real” news isn’t breaking. Or worse, if they are addressed in the mainstream, they are often discussed in sexist, biased terms.  I challenge this status quo and urge my readers to do the same.

sherights’ mantra is simple: women’s rights are human rights. When they are abused, disrespected or go unacknowledged, society as a whole is affected. Not just us women folk.
