sherights has a new Editor! Meet Lindsay Menard-Freeman,  irreverent feminist, youth activist and advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights.

She is currently the Advocacy & Communications Manager at  a global advocacy organization working to reduce maternal mortality and achieve universal access to reproductive health. She previously spent three years with the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA), where she coordinated networks of HIV activists and facilitated youth advocacy and capacity-building.  Lindsay’s work has taken her all over the world — from Ethiopia to India, South Africa, Mali, Mexico, Canada, China, Austria, Malaysia, Bali and Thailand — exposing her to varying realities of women’s experiences on the ground.

But don’t be fooled, she’s not all business. By night, she is a fierce knitter, blogger and Pinterest addict. And rumor has it, she has an excellent scarf collection. Catch her on Twitter at @lindsmf.
