sherights was born from a desire to raise awareness about women’s rights issues and news. Too often, these issues are swept aside and discounted as noise, or are filler for when “real” news isn’t breaking. Or worse, if they are addressed in the mainstream, they are often discussed in sexist, biased terms.

sherights’ mantra is simple: women’s rights are human rights. When they are abused, disrespected or ignored, society as a whole is affected. Not just us women folk.
